Abby & Justin: Engagement Session in Charleston, SC

We were so excited when Abby and Justin asked us to come to Charleston, SC for their engagement session! We love Charleston, which is where they currently live. Their March wedding in Charlotte is coming fast, and after many attempts with different things like hurricanes and unexpected family events, we finally made it happen and got to visit!

We wanted their session to be carefree, natural, and fun! There was a lot of laughter here and there, especially when trying to get Justin to naturally smile… we’re still not sure if we made it happen, but hey! we still have the wedding to get the candid smiles. We parked and took King Street toward the water, stopping along the way at all the beautiful little alleyways, staircases, and other inspiring architecture. Sometimes we get distracted and lose track of time, which is what happened with us, along with underestimating the walk to the water. We made it there at dusk, which was a little too late for some shots with the White Point Garden trees, but it actually made for some very epic dusk shots with our flashes. We finished with dinner at Coast Bar and Grill, because who can leave Charleston without some proper seafood?? We were so happy to capture some memories for Abby and Justin in Charleston and can’t wait for their March wedding at Trump National Golf Course! Here are a few of our favorites!
